Overview
This course offered by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association introduces Bisoma Acupuncture, an innovative and simplified approach to acupuncture rooted in constitutional diagnosis and the integration of Eastern and Western medical philosophies.
Presented by Dr. David Lee, this course explores how body type, or constitution, can guide highly effective treatment using a focused set of acupuncture points. Drawing on ancient Greek humoral theory and the Five Element framework, Bisoma Acupuncture categorizes patients into distinct body types and applies two sets of five “Harari” points to deliver efficient, targeted care.
Designed with clarity and clinical practicality in mind, this approach reduces complexity while maintaining depth, enabling practitioners to achieve fast, consistent, and reproducible outcomes, particularly in the treatment of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.

Why This Course Matters

Bisoma Acupuncture empowers clinicians to move beyond symptom-based treatment toward a more individualized, repeatable, and effective model of care.
